![]() It should also be noted that I've never seen more than 7 SATA power ports highlighted with the provided power supplies.Īnd, slightly off topic, the simulation currently has 6-pin GPU power plugging into the same ports as SATA power, instead of doing the usual not using 2 pins and still pulling from the 8-pin ports. ![]() Originally posted by Elana:I simply see no more than 6 SATA ports highlighted when I go to connect the data cables. I haven't tried this build in a long time. Unless they changed something in PCBS between a few months ago and now that wasn't in any of the patch notes that prevents us from doing this today. I just connected the drives and they went and all of them showed up in system info in OmegaOS. Are you referring to the actual specs off the websites in real life, or in-game specs? Did you actually try and connect all of the devices and see if the game lets you connect all of them? It was a long time ago when I did a build like that "connect everything" several months ago and I remember it all worked fine. At this time I don't see how to have more than six drives connected simultaniously within the confines of the game. If you look closely, there are twelve drives installed in that case, four 2.5" SSDs and eight 3.5" HDDs.
